Emmanuel Sanders, D.J. Jones out rest of 49ers-Seahawks with injuries

The 49ers will be without Jimmy Garoppolo's favorite target for the rest of Monday night's game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders, who had seamlessly fit in Kyle Shanahan's offense since coming over from the Broncos in an Oct. 22 trade, has been ruled out for the rest of the game with a rib injury.

Sanders racked up two catches for 24 yards before leaving the contest. He was coming off the most productive game by a 49ers wideout in years, racking up seven receptions for 112 yards and a touchdown in the 49ers' win over the Arizona Cardinals last Thursday night.

49ers defensive lineman D.J. Jones, who has been playing great as of late, also was ruled out for the game with a groin injury. Linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair won't return either after suffering a concussion.
