Edwards on pace for return Sunday

SANTA CLARA -- Receiver Braylon Edwards went through all the warmup drills Thursday, as he appears on pace to return to action after missing four games following surgery to repair torn cartilage in his right knee.

The 49ers will release a post-practice participation report late Thursday afternoon. Edwards took part in limited work at Wednesday's practice.

Also, center Jonathan Goodwin was again wearing a black jersey to designate him for limited contact work. Goodwin was also limited in practice Wednesday due to a concussion he sustained Oct. 16 against the Detroit Lions.
