Davis: Crabtree complained about QB throws in 49ers huddle

Wide receiver Michael Crabtree in September made it clear why he left the 49ers for the Raiders, saying he "needed a quarterback that can deliver the ball."

But new details surrounding his time in San Francisco continue to emerge.

The Raiders on Thursday tweeted a video of Crabtree making an impressive one-handed, fingertip grab in practice.

Former teammate and 49ers tackle Anthony Davis replied to the tweet, saying, "Crab did s--- like this in practice everyday. Then came to the huddle pissed off about placement of the ball. lol"

It is unknown which quarterback No. 15 was complaining about, as Davis played with both Alex Smith and Colin Kaepernick during Crabtree's 49ers tenure.

Crabtree, 28, has 47 receptions and 591 receiving yards and five touchdowns through eight games with the Raiders. He's on pace for his second career 1,000-yard receiving season. Paired up with new quarterback Derek Carr, he's also on pace to record double-digit touchdowns for the first time in his NFL career.

Crabtree entered the NFL in 2009 as a No. 10 overall pick. He spent the first six years of his career with the 49ers.
