As you might have heard, Stephen A. Smith has opinions and some of them aren't very good.
The ESPN commentator has made a name for himself by firing up the take machine Monday through Friday on "First Take," and he was at it again Wednesday when he ranked the top five wide receivers in the NFL.
To just about anyone, Raiders star Antonio Brown undoubtedly is one of the top pass-catchers in the NFL. all drama aside.

That's not the case if you ask Smith, though.
Packers wide receiver Davante Adams, who is a top receiver in his own right, didn't really enjoy what Smith was serving up and he fired back with a quick jab.
Talent recognizes talent.
It's also possible that Adams' jab was referring to Stephen A. omitting Adams himself from the list. But either way, Davante does not agree with the ESPN analyst's opinion.

Smith's defense probably would center around the amount of drama AB has caused this offseason with his frostbitten feet and helmet grievance, along with the transition from the Steelers to the Raiders where some expect his numbers to dip.
Brown and Raiders quarterback Derek Carr worked tirelessly this offseason to make sure their chemistry and timing are in peak form when the season kicks off. Now that Brown is fully healthy, there's no reason to think he and Carr won't put up big numbers this season.
