Colin Kaepernick continues to show NFL teams his desire to extend his football career.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Tuesday that NFL teams were informed the former 49ers quarterback will hold a private workout Saturday in Atlanta. Kaepernick will showcase his current shape and football skills, as well as answer any questions.
All NFL teams have been invited to attend, according to Schefter, and video of the workout and interview will be made available to every franchise.

Kaepernick himself confirmed the workout, tweeting that he has been "ready for this for 3 years."
Later Tuesday afternoon, Schefter added more details about the workout, which includes some odd stipulations.
Kaepernick, 32, last played in the NFL in 2016 with the 49ers. The six-year pro began kneeling during the national anthem in the 2016 preseason to protest racial and social injustices, as well as police brutality to African Americans.
Kaepernick underwent shoulder surgery going into the 2016 season and had to work his way back to health. He appeared in 12 games that season -- starting 11 -- and threw 16 touchdowns to four interceptions. Kaepernick also added two more touchdowns on the ground.

In February, Kaepernick and former 49ers safety Eric Reid, who joined Kaepernick's protest by kneeling as well in 2016, resolved their pending grievances against the NFL. Reid currently is in his second season with the Carolina Panthers. He continues to kneel during the anthem.
Kaepernick has posted videos to social media of his workouts, and his representatives told ESPN he has been "working out five days a week, for three years, in preparation to play again."
