ALAMEDA -- Ten Oakland players did not participate in practice on Wednesday, as the Raiders began preparations for the Chicago Bears on Sunday at the O.co Coliseum.Cornerback Chris Johnson, though, practiced for the first time in nearly two months. He underwent a "procedure" during training camp and the Raiders were contemplating placing him on Injured Reserve as recently as three weeks ago."I really didn't expect to be out this long," said Johnson, who last played in the New York Jets game on Sept. 25. "I had the infection, and that set me back longer than I expected. That's behind me now. I just want to go out and help the team and just ball.
"(The infection) set me back because they had to go in and drain all that fluid out. It's all positive now, so I am just trying to get back and contribute like I had been doing."RELATED: Raiders thin at WR Wednesday
