Carry chart shows Raiders' Josh Jacobs ran everywhere in win vs. Lions

When Raiders coach Jon Gruden needs guaranteed yards, he knows who to go to: Rookie running back Josh Jacobs.

The former Alabama product carried the ball 28 times for 120 yards and two touchdowns in Oakland's 31-24 win over Detroit on Sunday. It was Jacobs' third game with at least 120 yards rushing and his third multi-touchdown performance.

As NFL's Next Gen Stats show, Jacobs was all over the field. Whether he ran the ball left, right or up the middle, the rookie wasn't stopped once for a loss.

The Raiders were down star center Rodney Hudson, who injured his ankle and had to be carted off during Oakland's Week 8 loss to the Texans. That didn't matter for the rookie, though, who broke Marcus Allen's franchise record for most rushing yards in a rookie season (697) Sunday, with eight games remaining in his first NFL season.

Jacobs now has 740 rushing yards on 152 carries, good for 4.9 yards per carry. He also has scored six rushing touchdowns and has 102 yards receiving.

At just 21 years old, Jacobs has been Mr. Reliable for the Raiders. Call his number to the left, right or straight up the middle. Good things are guaranteed to happen.
