As expected, Jenkins inactive; Rams' Jenkins a surprise inactive

SAN FRANCISCO -- St. Louis Rams rookie cornerback Janoris Jenkins was a surprise inactive for Sunday's game against the 49ers at Candlestick Park.

Jenkins and rookie receiver Chris Givens, one of the only Rams' big-play threats on offense, were declared inactive after violating team rules, the Rams announced.
Bradley Fletcher is scheduled to start at right cornerback for Jenkins. Also, Danny Amendola, who has missed the past 3 12 games with a collarbone injury, is scheduled to return to the starting lineup.Amendola replaces Givens, who caught a pass of 50-plus yards in each of the Rams' past five games.There were no surprises as the 49ers submitted their list of inactive players. The list includes, as usual, wide receiver A.J. Jenkins and running backs Brandon Jacobs and LaMichael James.49ers inactives
