Brown has constantly found himself in the news with rumors involving the 49ers, ever since news circulated that he wanted out of Pittsburgh.

Aside from being recruited by 49ers Pro Bowl tight end George Kittle, Brown has been connected to a team legend as well. Brown has struck up quite the kinship with Jerry Rice, who says the Steeler wants to be on the 49ers "really bad."

Any legal updates regarding Brown certainly will affect how the 49ers view him. They have dealt with domectic cases in the past, and released linebacker Reuben Foster after his domestic violence arrest in November.
