The 49ers used the same seventh-round draft pick for 2016 in two separate trades in less than two months.
The 49ers on Monday traded tight end Vernon Davis and their seventh-round pick in the 2016 draft to the Denver Broncos in exchange for sixth-round picks in 2016 and 2017, a source confirmed.
On Sept. 5, the 49ers traded that same seventh-round pick to the Baltimore Ravens for center Nick Easton. But the 49ers regained possession of the conditional pick because Easton was required to be on the 49ers’ roster for one more game in order for the Ravens to secure the selection, a league source told CSNBayArea.com.
