“I would like to thank the 49ers organization for giving me this opportunity that’s not given to most people and I promise to make the most out of it,” Walter wrote as the caption under a photo of him signing his contract.
Walter is the only rookie running back on the 49ers’ roster. He is a dual-threat runner, much like Jerick McKinnon, Tevin Coleman and Matt Breida. Raheem Mostert, Jeff Wilson Jr. and Matt Dayes are the other running backs on the 49ers' offseason roster.
