SEATTLE — For the first time this season, the 49ers will have the same wide receiver lineup two weeks in a row.
Veterans Pierre Garçon and Marquise Goodwin again have been ruled out, so rookie Dante Pettis and second-year pro Kendrick Bourne will look to improve their productivity with quarterback Nick Mullens, who will make his fourth career NFL start Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks.
Starters at the safety position are less certain. With rookie D.J. Reed out, Jaquiski Tartt, Antone Exum Jr. and Marcell Harris are the 49ers’ options. Coach Kyle Shanahan would not reveal who would play where prior to the game.

Also on the defensive side, a rotation of players will be lined up next to rookie linebacker Fred Warner. Malcolm Smith is still nursing an Achilles injury, so Elijah Lee and Mark Nzeocha will fill in when he needs to come off the field.
In that same vein, the 49ers will use running back Matt Breida as much as possible, but with his lingering ankle injury, Jeff Wilson likely will take over as he did last week at Tampa Bay. Alfred Morris remains a healthy scratch for the second week in a row.
