49ers players pumped linebacker Fred Warner made NFL's top 100 list

It didn't take long for 49ers linebacker Fred Warner to establish himself among football's elite. After just his second season in the pros, the former third-round draft pick came in at No. 70 on the NFL's top 100 list, as voted by the players.

Warner's teammates were pumped for him, too, to say the least.

Those last two tweets are the most important, and not just because they come from star players. George Kittle says this is "just the start" for Warner, while Richard Sherman added it's "only the beginning."

Warner is just 23 years old. He was voted as a top-10 linebacker in the league this offseason in an ESPN poll conducted by executives, coaches, scouts and players. That includes inside and outside linebackers as well. In the modern NFL, Warner is the perfect hybrid linebacker.

Warner totaled 118 tackles -- 89 solo -- with three sacks, three forced fumbles, nine passes defensed and one interception returned for a touchdown last season. He is elite in coverage, making him a dangerous weapon for Robert Saleh's defense. In reality, No. 70 overall still might be too low for him.

This truly does feel like just the start for the former BYU linebacker, who quickly has established himself as a star.
