PHOENIX -- Wide receiver Pierre Garçon did not make the trip with his 49ers teammates and will not play Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals.
The 49ers officially ruled out Garçon from playing. He was originally listed as doubtful for the game due to knee and shoulder issues. He did not practice this week.
Rookie wide receiver Dante Pettis will return to action after missing three games with a knee injury. Pettis is no longer listed on the 49ers' injury report.
