I wore #4 as a Texas Longhorn. I wore #4 as a Cleveland Brown. I am happy to announce, I will wear #4 in 2016 in SF!

Dawson, 41, is set to enter his 18th NFL season. Punter Andy Lee wore No. 4 during Dawson’s first two seasons with the 49ers after signing as a free agent in 2013.
Dawson signed a one-year, $3.134 million contract to return to the 49ers in 2016. He was named the winner of the Bill Walsh Award as the team MVP last season.
In his three seasons with San Francisco, Dawson owns the top-two longest streaks of made field goals. He set the franchise record in 2013 with 27 consecutive made field goals. Last year, he had 19 field-goal attempts without a miss.
