SANTA CLARA -– Tight end Vernon Davis is not expected to be available for Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers due to a knee injury that kept him out of practice all week.
Davis is officially listed as doubtful on the 49ers’ injury report, which was released following Friday’s practice.
Davis had one catch for 44 yards in a 2012 playoff game against the Packers. He caught six passes for 98 yards and two touchdowns against the Packers in the season opener in 2013. And in a playoff game that season, he had two receptions for 37 yards and a score against Green Bay.
