The 49ers have one open roster spot that the team is expected to fill this week with a running back.
Raheem Mostert sustained a season-ending fractured forearm last week in the 49ers’ 34-3 victory over the Raiders. That left Matt Breida and Alfred Morris as the only two running backs on the team’s 53-man roster.
The 49ers could promote either Jeff Wilson or Matthew Dayes from the practice squad.
