49ers RB Frank Gore was voted Week 6 FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week for his contributions to the 49ers' 25-19 win over the Lions.
Gore ran for 141 yards and a score on 15 carries. He averaged 9.4 yards per carry, higher than any back with over 10 carries in Week 6.
Gore beat out the Steelers' Rashard Mendenhall and the Falcons' Michael Turner for his first Player of the Week honor of the year.
