SANTA CLARA — The 49ers get a little extra rest during the long week to get players healthy for their Monday night match up against the New York Giants.
Tight end George Kittle was limited in practice due to a chest contusion that he sustained in the 34-3 win over the Raiders. Without any setbacks and an extra day to heal, he will likely be available for Monday night’s game.
More concerning are both safety Jaquiski Tartt and linebacker Reuben Foster, who would be key contributors in stopping multi-faceted running back Saquon Barkley. Both Tartt and Foster did not play in last Thursday’s game and could still be out for the remainder of the week.

Safety Antone Exum Jr. is off the injury report and out of the concussion protocol. He could step in on Monday if Tartt is unable to play.
Wide receiver Pierre Garçon is still nursing a knee injury that kept him out of the game in Arizona, but he did play in Thursday’s game. If he is unavailable to play on Monday night, look to see Trent Taylor back on the list of active players against the Giants.
