49ers fans would rather face Packers than Seahawks in NFC Championship Game

Green Bay Packers or Seattle Seahawks: Who would you rather face?

The 49ers are officially heading to the NFC Championship Game, but we don't know who their opponent will be until Sunday night.

The Seahawks will head to Lambeau Field to take on the Packers on Sunday in the NFC Divisional Playoff, with the winner earning a trip to Levi's Stadium to face the 49ers on Jan. 19.

Many 49ers fans cast their vote on who they would prefer to face:

The Packers were chosen by a landslide, 80 percent to 20 percent, likely because fans do not want to see the 49ers go up against the Seahawks again.

The 49ers received their first loss of the season against the Seahawks in Week 10, when injuries began to pile up for San Francisco. They still had a chance to win in overtime, but the rookie Chase McLaughlin missed the potential game-winning field goal from 47 yards out.

Fans certainly don't want to relive that moment.

In Week 12 the 49ers placed a whooping on the Packers in a 37-8 blowout game. The 49ers got their revenge on Seattle in Week 17, however, with a 26-21 nail-biting victory.

Thus it makes sense why 49ers fans would rather play the Packers, who are four-point home favorites against Seattle.

Still, with the way playoff games go -- and the way the Titans just took over the Ravens on the AFC side of the bracket -- anything can happen.
