49ers Director of Player Personnel Tom Gamble will interview with the St. Louis Rams for their general manager opening Tuesday, according to the St. Louis Dispatch.
Gamble just completed his seventh season with the 49ers, and his 24th in the NFL.
He first broke onto the scene as an assistant in the player personnel department for the Philadelphia Eagles in 1988, where he served through 1994.

While in Philadelphia, Gamble worked with newly appointed Rams head coach Jeff Fisher, who was the Eagles' defensive coordinator from '88 through '90.
