49ers' Davis doing OL drills: ‘Preparing to go lead some men'

The 49ers’ official nine-week offseason program concluded without any hint of Anthony Davis, who started 71 games for the team at right tackle from 2010 to 2014 before announcing in June 2015 that he was stepping away from the sport.

Davis was plagued by various injuries throughout the 2014 season.

He missed four starts late in the season after sustaining a concussion. In announcing his decision to step away, Davis said he needed time to allow his brain and body a chance to heal.

The team's lineman on Tuesday was captured in several workout videos, and posted one of his own on Instagram.

Davis was in a video doing offensive line drills posted by New Jersey based Raritan Physical Therapy, with one caption that read, "Who is getting around our guys @11october? @49ers #nfl @rfootball #rutgers @raritanpt #piscataway #crafty."

In the video Davis posted on his protected account, he was running on a treadmill, and wrote: "After every rep we had to make sure bolts and screws weren't falling out the bottom of this thing. lol ...Preparing To Go Lead Some Men. If you're feeling some kind of way then OutWork me... | @RaritanPT"
