SANTA CLARA — The 49ers will look to start Jeff Wilson in the backfield to face the Broncos in Week 14.
After Matt Breida re-aggravated his nagging ankle injury, Wilson took over as the lead back in Seattle. This will be the case on Sunday as well. Alfred Morris could look to return to the field after being a healthy scratch for the past two games.

The 49ers do get a player back with D.J. Reed returning to full participation. It couldn’t have come at a better time with Jaquiski Tartt ruled out. Antone Exum Jr. and Marcell Harris will also be in play at the safety position.
The team also had Marquise Goodwin back at practice for the first time after missing two weeks. This will help add another dimension to the 49ers struggling offense.
The Broncos are dealing with their own injury woes. Cornerback Chris Harris fractured his fibula in Week 13 and receiver Emmanuel Sanders appears to have torn his ACL in practice.
