Two wide receivers on the 49ers want to wear No. 11 next season, but only one can.

While Bourne wore No. 11 during his college days at Eastern Washington, Aiyuk wore No. 2 at Arizona State.

Recent history would suggest Aiyuk will get the number. In 2018, the 49ers gave newly-draft wide receivers Dante Pettis and Richie James numbers in the teens. Last year, Deebo Samuel and Jalen Hurd were given No. 19 and No. 14 respectively.
If the trend continues, Aiyuk will get No. 11.
