The 2020 WNBA Draft will be held virtually Friday night, and teams are gearing up to improve their chances at a title.
Friday's draft -- which is set to air on ESPN at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT -- has the potential to be one of the most historic in recent memory. Oregon star and Bay Area native Sabrina Ionescu likely will join the rebuilding New York Liberty, as she is the consensus projected No. 1 pick.
Other notable prospects include Oregon's Satou Sabally, Baylor's Lauren Cox and Texas A&M's Channedy Carter, whose WNBA debuts might be delayed due to the global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
