LOS ANGELES -- Drew Hillman hit a two-run home run in the sixth inning in UC Irvine's 4-3 victory over San Francisco on Saturday night in the NCAA Los Angeles Regional.
After Brian Hernandez's RBI single gave Irvine (41-16) a two-run lead, Hillman launched Matt Hiserman's pitch over the left-center field wall to make it 4-0.

Anteaters starter Matt Whitehouse (4-0) struck out seven and allowed three runs - two earned in - 8 1-3 innings.
The Dons (32-24) cut it to 4-3 in the bottom of the ninth and had the tying runner on second base with two outs, but Jimmy Litchfield came in and struck out Mason Marioka to end the game.
San Francisco will play UCLA in an elimination game Sunday. The winner will play UC Irvine in the second game.
