Steph Curry inspired by 13-year-old basketball player with one arm

Steph Curry idolized NBA legends Steve Nash and Reggie Miller growing up. He liked how Nash handled the ball and, of course, Reggie's shooting stroke.

He’s also impressed by Zhang Jiacheng.

If you’ve never heard of him, that’s OK -- you’re about to be inspired, just as Steph was.

Zhang is a 13-year-old boy from China who has just one arm.

“Man, I just wanna say you are an inspiration,” Curry said on Weibo, a Chinese social media platform. “You don’t take no for an answer. You found a way to overcome and get out there on the basketball court and show people just how much the game means to you, man. It’s awesome to watch. Continue to be an inspiration to anybody that lays eyes on you.”

I mean, just watch him:

Zhang lost his right arm in an accident when he was just five years old, but it appears that didn’t let that deter him from being a stud on the court.

Clips of the young baller went viral and he became an internet sensation. He gained so much popularity, the Guangdong Southern Tigers in the Chinese Basketball Association invited him to their training facility

If you’re going to make your presence known around someone like Curry, you’re obviously doing something right.
