Stanford guard Jeremy Green will declare for the NBA draft but will not hire an agent.
Green is not enrolled in school this quarter due to academic suspension, but the 6-foot-4, 194-pounder is expected to be eligible for next season, should he choose to return.

"This is an exciting opportunity for Jeremy as he explores his options regarding the NBA," said Stanford coach Johnny Dawkins. "Jeremy is an important part of our program and has continued to show improvement while establishing himself as one of the top players in our league. We look forward to providing support as he gathers information during this process."
The two-time All-Pac-10 selection started all 31 games for the Cardinal, averaging a team-best 16.7 points per game. He led Stanford in three-pointers. During a four-game stretch in early February, Green knocked down 12 consecutive three-pointers, a streak that ranks second-best in NCAA history.
In 97 career games, Green averaged 13 points and 3 rebounds per game.
Also, assistant coach Rodney Tention will not return next season.
