Andre Ward (28-0, 15 KO) will reportedly face Alexander Brand (24-1, 19 KO) in a light heavyweight tilt on November 21 at the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino.
The bout would serve as the co-feature alongside headliners Miguel Cotto & Saul "Canelo" Alvarez. It would also be the first of Ward's new three-fight deal with HBO, which is rumored to include a 2016 superfight with light heavyweight kingpin Sergey "Krusher" Kovalev (28-0-1, 25 KO).
Last week, the Nevada State Athletic Commission refused to sanction a fight between Ward and Australian Rohan Murdock (18-1, 14 KO), calling it a mismatch.
