CHIMDI CHEKWA
Fourth round, No. 92 overall
Pos.: Cornerback
School: Ohio State
Hometown: Clermont, Fla.
Ht. 6-0; Wt. 191

College career: All-Big 10 as a senior, he had 39 career starts with six interceptions, 28 passes broken up and 145 tackles. He also ran on the Buckeyes' track team.Scouting report: Yes, he's fast - he ran a 4.38 40 at the Combine - but he was not able to fully perform due to his right wrist still recovering from surgery needed after severely dislocating it in the Sugar Bowl. Not known for his cover skills in man-to-man defenses but athletic enough. How he fits with Raiders: His selection to load up on so many corners - Oakland drafted two last year and two this time around - shows the Raiders have all but given up hope on re-signing Nnamdi Asomugha and were not pleased with rookies Walter McFadden and Jeremy Ware last year.
