Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes didn't play together at all before the Premier League season was suspended due to the coronavirus.
The Manchester United stars rewarded all those who asked "What if?" in about 30 minutes alongside one another on Friday, with Fernandes burying a Pogba-drawn penalty to salvage a point in a 1-1 draw against Tottenham Hotspur.
Pogba injected instant life into United's lineup when United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer brought on the Frenchman in the 63rd minute, and the midfielder drew a penalty in the 80th minute. Fernandes then stepped to the spot, and he delivered.

Fernandes joined in the winter transfer window, but Pogba had not played in a Premier League match since Dec. 26. Though the Red Devils still haven't seen the two play together for a full competitive match, let alone half of one, Fernandes maintaining his hot run of form has to entice United in their pursuit of a Champions League place.

Fifth-place Manchester United could've tied Chelsea for fourth in the table with a win, but their current position would ensure UEFA Champions League qualification if Manchester City's ban is upheld.

If Pogba and Fernandes continue to look this good together in United's eight remaining matches, Solskjaer's side should have a much stronger hold on European qualification.
