The Cardinal advanced to the NCAA Super Regional after winning the Fullerton Regional. The Cardinal will travel to Chapel Hill for a best-of-three series with the winner going on to the College World Series.

When: Game 1 Friday, June 10 at 12 p.m.
Game 2 Saturday, June 11 at 12 p.m.
Game 3 Sunday, June 12 at 1 p.m

Where: Chapel Hill, N.C. at Boshamer Stadium

Key Players:
Stanford -- Stephen Piscotty: The sophomore third baseman was named a first-team All-Pac-10 selection in 2011. Piscotty is currently hitting .370 with 3 HR and 40 RBIs.
North Carolina -- Patrick Johnson: The senior right-hander was named to the 2011 ACC All-Tournament team. Johnson has a 12-1 record on the year with a 2.36 ERA and 113 strikeouts.

How they got here:
Stanford -- The Cardinal defeated Illinois 14-2, to win the Fullerton Regional. Senior Ben Clowe led the way with 2 HR on four hits while Danny Sandbrink pitched seven strong innings. This will be Stanford's eighth Super Regional appearance. North Carolina -- The Tar Heels defeated James Madison 9-3 to complete their sweep through the Chapel Hill Regional. Sophomore Chaz Frank drove in three runs in the victory.
