Wilson Ramos has been found safe in the mountains west of his home town in Venezuela, the country's minister of information announced minutes ago.
Ramos' family has been informed of his rescue and was told he will be brought home soon, roughly 51 hours after he was abducted by four armed men outside his house near Valencia.

Shortly after the news broke, the Giants' Pablo Sandoval -- also native to Venezuela -- tweeted his exultation in Spanish.
Sandoval has a 10-game trip to Venezuela planned, and there was speculation that the trip was in doubt, but the Giants have not asked him to change his plans yet, according to the San Jose Mercury News.
