(AP) Freshman Allen Crabbe scored 17 points on a career-highfive 3-pointers, Harper Kamp had 19 points and nine rebounds andCalifornia beat Hartford 74-56 on Tuesday night to give coach MikeMontgomery his 600th career victory.Richard Solomon added 10 points, 10rebounds and three blocks for the Golden Bears (7-5), who led by 25 inthe first meeting between the schools.Montgomery, in his third season atCal, became the seventh active coach in Division I to reach themilestone victory. He was subdued after the win, walking behind thebench to slap hands with his wife and daughter before exiting the courtwith his players.Genesis Maciel and Joe Zeglinskiscored 11 points apiece for Hartford (2-9), which dropped its fourthstraight under first-year coach John Gallagher.
