Britt Joins Network as Multi-Platform Host and Reporter
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – April 19, 2018 – NBC Sports Bay Area and NBC Sports California (@NBCSAuthentic) – “Home of Authentic Bay Area Sports” – today announced that Laura Britt (@Laura_Britt_) has joined the network as a multi-platform host and reporter for its on-air and online shows. The announcement was made by David Koppett, Vice President of Content Strategy for NBC Sports Bay Area and NBC Sports California.
Said Koppett: “We are thrilled to have Laura join NBC Sports as a multi-platform host and reporter. She has established herself as one of the most versatile sportscasters in the business today, and her extensive experience and commentary will further enhance the network’s expansion into the digital space.”

Britt most recently was a host and reporter at Stadium (2017-2018) – a multi-platform sports network based in Chicago – appearing in The Rally, the network’s signature three-hour daily program featuring the day’s trending news, analysis and highlights. Additionally, she served as a host and reporter for Chicago-based 120 Sports (2013-2017) – an all-digital sports network.
Before Chicago, Britt was a sports reporter and morning anchor in Jackson, Miss. for WDBD (FOX; 2010-2012), where she covered college sports – Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Southern Miss – and the New Orleans Saints, and co-hosted Fox 40 AM, a live two-hour morning show.
Britt, a native of Vestavia Hills, Ala., is a 2009 graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Bachelor of Arts degree in mass communication broadcasting.
