ALAMEDA - The Raiders were 14th in the waiver wire order today and though receiver Randy Moss was there for the taking, they took a pass.Good for them.The thinking was Oakland might take a chance on the noted malcontent to kick the Raiders offense into a higher gear because A) Al Davis has said before that he never wanted to part with the mercurial receiver in the first place and B) the Raiders are thin at wide receiver.Thankfully for the blossoming Raiders, they plugged their nose and turned away.We looked at everything, in terms of whats best for our football team, and I just feel like, right now, were O.K., coach Tom Cable said. Moss was a lost cause when not motivated in Oakland in 2005 and 2006, after being acquired for a first-round draft pick and linebacker Napoleon Harris.
