CSNBayArea.com staffThe Giants will place Brandon Belt on the disabled list and call up infielder Conor Gillaspie, Bruce Bochy announced in his postgame press conference Saturday.Reports came out that X-rays were negative, but after the Giants' 2-1 loss to the Rockies, Bruce Bochy begrudgingly admitted that Belt has a small fracture in his left wrist.Belt was drilled with a fastball from the Cardinals' Trevor Miller on Tuesday and dropped to a knee before taking first base. Gillaspie, drafted 37th overall by the Giants in 2008, had one hit in five at bats in a brief call up in 2008 and has been in the minor leagues ever since. This season, the third baseman is hitting .278 with three home runs and 32 RBIs with the Fresno Grizzlies.
