SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) -- San Francisco's pitchers and catchers have reported to spring training, the Giants' first as defending World Series champions since moving West.
The clubhouse inside Scottsdale Stadium didn't look a whole lot different than in years past, the lockers filled with jerseys and workout clothes, with cleats down below and boxes of bats on top.

There was one small change to signify what the Giants accomplished last season: a miniature replica of their World Series banner tacked to a ceiling overhang.
San Francisco beat Texas in five games last fall for its first title since 1954 and has plenty of reason for optimism with nearly all its roster back for this season.
