Giants rookie first baseman Brandon Belt was activated from the DL Thursday and immediately optioned to Triple-A Fresno.

Belt has been sidelined since fracturing a bone in his wrist when he was struck by a pitch in St. Louis on May 31. He was hit by Trever Miller in the seventh inning of a 4-3 loss to the Cardinals.
Belt has hit just .211 in 19 games with the big league club this year.
