SIGN UP HERE SAN FRANCISCO, CA (November 11, 2016) – The San Jose Sharks 2016-17 run for the Stanley Cup Playoffs will be available in more places and on more screens than ever before as CSN California (@CSNAuthentic), has announced that it will live stream its schedule of Sharks games on CSNCalifornia.com (CSNCalifornia.com/SharksStream) and via the NBC Sports app, starting this Saturday (Nov. 12) – Sharks at Tampa Bay Lighting. In addition, CSN California, the home of “Authentic Bay Area Sports,” will also live stream its game-day shows Sharks Pregame Live and Sharks Postgame Live. The new offering is provided to CSN subscribers at no additional cost and supports NBCUniversal’s “TV Everywhere” initiative, which makes quality content available to authenticated customers both in and out of the home, and on multiple platforms.
To access the CSN video player for live streaming, viewers can visit CSNCalifornia.com on their laptop or desktop device, or download the NBC Sports App. Powered by Playmaker Media, the NBC Sports app is available on Apple iOS, Android and select Samsung devices, as well as on Amazon Fire, Apple TV, Chromecast, Roku, Win10, and Xbox. Authenticated CSN subscribers now have the ability to access live Sharks coverage, even when traveling outside of their region, provided they are within the United States. CSN California’s addition of Sharks streaming follows the 2014 introduction of live, local NBA streaming, which has experienced significant gains in consumption for CSN Bay Area and CSN California since launch (Golden State Warriors games total unique visitors +363%; and Sacramento Kings games total unique visitors +190%).

Sharks live streaming on CSN California is presented by Northern California Honda Dealers, which has now partnered with CSN to be the presenting sponsor for NHL streaming on the network’s digital platforms. Northern California Honda Dealers has been the existing sponsor for CSN Bay Area's live NBA streaming of the Golden State Warriors and CSN California’s live streaming of the Sacramento Kings games since the 2014-15 season.

Calling all the action for Sharks games on CSN California is eight-time regional Emmy Award winner and play-by-play announcer Randy Hahn (@sharkvoice) and 10-year NHL veteran and color analyst Jamie Baker (@Bakes_Jamie13). Returning for all Sharks home games this season is a permanent “Inside The Glass” position on the Sharks bench, where Baker will provide viewers with an up-close-and-personal vantage point for Sharks broadcasts on CSN California, bringing fans closer than ever to Sharks hockey action.
