(CSNAP) -- Giants outfielder Carlos Beltran is day-to-day with a wrist strain, manager Bruce Bochy said before Tuesday's game against the Pirates.Bochy said that Beltran is unavailable for Tuesday's game but might be available for Wednesday's series finale against Pittsburgh, but the team wants to make sure he doesn't have a setback.Beltran came out of Sunday's 3-1 win over the Phillies after experiencing a sharp pain in the top of his hand while striking out swinging to end the sixth inning. X-rays were negative, and an MRI showed inflammation.Acquired in a trade with the Mets for top pitching prospect Zack Wheeler, Beltran is hitting just .244 in his first 45 at bats as a Giant.
