Oakland Athletics infielder Adam Rosales made his first rehab startfor the AAA Sacramento River Cats Wednesday afternoon.

He made his presencefelt by finishing a home run shy of the first Cycle in River Cats history. He singled in the first inning, hit an RBI double in the fourth and tripled in the sixth. He also stole a base in the first inning.
Rosalesarrived in Sacramentojust hours prior to game-time, and will continue his rehab stint beforepresumably joining the big club.On March 30, Rosales was placed on the 60-dayDL following right ankle surgery. In 2010, he appeared in 80 games for theAthletics, compiling a .271 average, with seven home runs and 31 RBI.
