A's leadoff man Coco Crisp, who strained his left quad Tuesday and did not play again until Sunday, is not in the starting lineup today for the series finale against Texas at the Overstock.com Coliseum."He's coming back from injury so we're just being cautious with him," said A's manager Bob Geren, who added that Crisp could potentially play today.
"We're monitoring how the game goes. He had high exertion yesterday with a lot of running and we have to be cautious."Crisp initially pulled up lame beating out a double-play grounder in Anaheim and was shuffling around the Angel Stadium visitors clubhouse gingerly the next two days. He did not play in the first two games of the Rangers series but was two for five with a double, a run scored and an RBI on Sunday. He is on a five-game hitting streak in which he is batting .571 (12 for 21) with four multiple-hit games in that stretch.
