The 2020 NFL Draft is set to begin on Thursday. That gives some of those who were once waiting for their name to be called a chance at the warm fuzzy feeling of heading down memory lane.
49ers safety Jaquiski Tartt revealed he originally thought he was going to the Texans in the 2015 NFL Draft when he saw a Houston area code pop up on his phone.
He took the call only to find out it was his cousin -- and immediately hung up on him.

A few picks later, he was on the 49ers.
He would go in the second round, 46th overall, out of Samford college.

“It changed my life,” he said.
