
The 49ers replaced undrafted rookie wide receiver Nathan Palmer with Ricardo Lockette, the latter player announced on his Twitter account Monday.
I am the newest member of the 49ers Ricardo Lockette (@RicardoLockette) September 24, 2012The Indianapolis Colts signed Palmer, leading the 49ers to add fellow wide receiver Lockette to their practice squad.
Lockette went to Division II Fort Valley State, where he had 23 catches, 262 receiving yard and a touchdown in his senior season. He spent the first 13 weeks of his rookie season on the Seahawks' practice squad before making his NFL debut against the 49ers in Week 16 of last season.
