
RENO, Nevada -- Marqueze Coleman scored 18 points, including the go-ahead basket, Cameron Oliver added 11 points and 10 rebounds, and Nevada beat Santa Clara 72-69 on Friday night.
D.J. Fenner scored 17 points, Eric Cooper Jr. added 11, and Lindsey Drew had six assists for Nevada (8-3), which won its second straight and improved to 5-0 at home for the first time since 2009-10.

Coleman scored five straight, including a 3-point play that put Nevada ahead for good at 70-67 with 2:26 left. Jared Brownridge made a layup to pull Santa Clara within 70-69 with 2:02 to go, and then fouled Oliver, who made both free throws with 10 seconds left. Both KJ Feagin and Brownridge missed 3-pointers in the final seconds.
Brownridge scored 29 with seven 3-pointers, and Nate Kratch added 12 for the Broncos (4-8), who ended a four-game winning streak.
The game had 14 lead changes and nine ties.
