
MORAGA -- Emmett Naar had 15 points and 11 assists, Dane Pineau added 12 points and 11 rebounds and Saint Mary's beat Georgia 77-65 on Sunday night in the NIT second round.
Saint Mary's pulled away with 11 straight points midway through the second half and led by 19 with 5:16 left. Georgia (20-14) answered with a 9-0 run to get within 72-62 with 3:06 left but got no closer from there.
