DaQuan Jeffries is coming back to the Kings.
The 23-year-old guard signed a two-year, $3 million contract to return to Sacramento, a source confirmed to NBC Sports California's James Ham. Bill Duffy and Erik Kabe, Jeffries' agent, first told The Athletic's Shams Charania the parameters of the agreement.

SIGN UP HERE A source told Ham that the Kings have a team option for the deal's second year, and Jeffries' contract is guaranteed for the first season. It's an NBA deal as opposed to a two-way, which Jeffries signed with the Kings last year after the Orlando Magic waived him.

Jeffries played just 13 games with the Kings last season, seven of which came when the season resumed in July in the bubble just outside of Orlando, Fla. He averaged 6.1 points and 2.4 rebounds in 17.4 minutes per game in the bubble.
Although Jeffries struggled with his outside shot as an NBA rookie (27.8 percent on 3-pointers), he made 37.7 percent of his 3-pointers in college. The 23-year-old could get a real opportunity on the wing after the Kings didn't match the Atlanta Hawks' offer sheet for Bogdan Bogdanovic, and becoming a consistent 3-point shooter will go a long way toward keeping Jeffries in Luke Walton's rotation.
