The Luke Walton era might not last much longer in Sacramento.
The Athletic's Shams Charania and Sam Amick reported Monday, citing sources, that Walton's job could be in jeopardy soon if the Kings' current slide continues.
The Kings are 5-8 and have lost four consecutive games to the Indiana Pacers, Phoenix Suns, San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder. The meltdown against the Thunder was particularly egregious and now it appears Walton's seat is warming.

Per Amick and Charania, the Kings are set on snapping their 15-year playoff drought this season, so an extended losing streak won't be tolerated.
Walton has this season and next guaranteed under contract for a combined $11.5 million.
The Kings face the Detroit Pistons on Monday.
