NBA L2MR: Refs missed critical call on Jokić in Kings-Nuggets game

Officials missed a crucial call in the final seconds of Saturday’s Kings-Denver Nuggets game, the NBA admitted in the Last Two Minute Report.

According to the report, Nikola Jokić should have been called for an illegal screen against De’Aaron Fox with 31.1 seconds left in the game.

"Jokić establishes himself in a screening position in the path of Fox, but extends his lower body into Fox and the contact dislodges him,” the report reads.

Jokić would have been fouled out of the game for committing his sixth foul, which could’ve been a potential game-changer for the Kings.

Instead, the screen gave Nuggets’ Monte Morris space to knock down a three, putting Denver up 113-110.

A few seconds later on the other end of the court, Jokić was called for his sixth foul, a shooting foul, on Harrison Barnes with 6.7 seconds remaining -- but the call was overturned and Jokić stayed in the game.
